1964

  • US single release: 'Love Me Do'/'P.S. I Love You'.
    US single release: 'A World Without Love/'If I Were You', 1st of Peter and Gordon.
  • 'In His Own Write' is published in the USA.
  • The Searchers, Billy J. Kramer with the Dakotas, Cilla Black, Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen, Dusty Springfield and Gerry and the Pacemakers promise to give their services in a series of concerts to raise money for the building of the Pilgrim Theatre.
  • The share capital of NEMS Enterprises Limited is increased from the original £ 100 to £ 10,000, with the creation of 9,900 ordinary shares. Each Beatle receives 250, Brian 4950 and Clive 3950 of them.
  • Broadcast of performance for 'Ready Steady Go' (filmed 20 March 1964).
  • Gene Loving stays at the Harrison household in Liverpool.
  • Wembley TV Studios, Wembley, Middlesex. Rehearsal for 'Around The Beatles'.

1965

  • The Paramounts sign an agency contract with NEMS Enterprises.

1966

Mono mixing: 'Taxman' (remix 1, from take 12); 'And Your Bird Can Sing' (remix 6, from take 10); 'Mark I' (working title of 'Tomorrow Never Knows') (remixes 1-9, from take 3). Studio 3. 11.30pm-3.00am. Recording: 'I'm Only Sleeping' (takes 1-11). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Geoff Emerick; 2nd Engineer: Phil McDonald.
  • 'Rubber Soul', 21st week in the Top 10 (UK New Musical Express chart).

1967

  • 4th performance of Donovan at the Saville Theatre.
  • Studio 3. 7.00pm-12.45am. Recording: 'Magical Mystery Tour' (overdub onto take 9). Mono mixing: 'Magical Mystery Tour' (remixes 1-4, from take 9). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Geoff Emerick; 2nd Engineer: Richard Lush.
    A session is booked for May 3. Emerick and Townsend excuse themselves for being booked for other session, with the Wurzels, that same day.

1968

  • 'Lady Madonna', 6th week in the Top 40 (Billboard).

1969

  • Abbey Road. Recording: 'John And Yoko' [re-make].

1970

  • John is cleared of the indecency charge in the High Court and the case is dismissed. John's lithographies return to the London Arts Gallery.

1974

  • 'Jet', 10th and last week in the Top 40 (Billboard).

1981

  • Marriage of Ringo and Barbara Bach, at the Registrar's Office, Marylebone Road, London. Paul, Linda, George and Olivia attend.

1993

  • Paul concert at the Liberty Bowl Stadium, Memphis (The New World Tour).
